Zoom Family Dance Night Friday, Feb. 5th

Chinook PTSA is happy to announce our Zoom “Happy Together” Family Dance, Friday, February 5 from 6-7:30 pm.

Dust off your dancing shoes and gather the family to show us your best dance moves as DJ Craig from High Fidelity Entertainment lays down some smooth beats.

A household scavenger hunt, best decorated room contest, and family dance contest will also be held during the festivities.  Show some extra school spirit by dressing up in your favorite Valentine’s Day clothes.

If you would like to attend, please click on the link below and RSVP.  Students will receive a goody bag to enjoy during the dance.

A and B pod students will receive their goody bags at school to take home next week. Remote students will be able to pick up their goody bag at Chinook on Thursday, February 4 between 4-6pm.  If you cannot make it at this time, please email chinookptsapresident@gmail.com and we will work with you to schedule an alternate time.

We hope to see you all there!

Calling All Wolf Pup Artists!

Last year we saw so much amazing artwork submitted for our yearbook cover contest! This year we’d like to give everyone the opportunity to be on the cover!

Instead of offering a full cover spread to one or two students, we would love to create a collage of ALL of our drawings put together. We’re asking for each student to draw a single, simple drawing that they feel represents Chinook. It may be an object, person, word, whatever they choose, as long as it’s school appropriate and makes them think of their school. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
**To be clear, this will not be a full cover they’re drawing, but an item or two to contribute to the cover collage.

We are on a tight deadline to get our cover submitted, so all drawings will need to be sent in by January 20. The sooner the better!
Please email a clear picture to chinookptsayearbook@gmail.com with the subject line titled Yearbook Cover, adding the student’s name and teacher in the email so they can be recognized in the yearbook.

Thank you! 💙🐺

Let’s get in the spirit of giving!!

We will be partnering with VPS Community Outreach to help fill food boxes for VPS families over Winter break by collecting shelf-stable pantry items . Everyday and holiday food items like pancake mix and syrup, cereal, soups, mac n cheese, stuffing, canned fruits and vegetables, crackers, and kid-friendly snacks would be wonderful choices. To make it extra fun, let your child choose a snack to donate!

Each child will receive a fun gift from the PTSA as well as an age-appropriate book from VPS Community Outreach!

Show us your holiday pizzaz! We are looking for volunteers to decorate their trunks/cars for a best decked car contest! Come park and wave as the parade of wolf pups pass through the parking lot. Each passing car will get to vote for their favorite festive car. The car with the most votes will receive a prize!

Even if you don’t want to enter the contest, all cars are encouraged to get festive! We would love to see your cars all decked out as you drive around the loop to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.

We need a little help! Please sign up to help with the event if you are able https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0949abab22a1fb6-santas

If you have any spare decorations around your house you no longer want and would like to donate for decorating this event, please contact chinookptsatreasurer@gmail.com.

We hope to see you all there! We miss your smiling faces!
